Arkyos is a Tier 5 Epic boss located in Grimhal Volcano.

Strategy
Without any modifiers, Arkyos will (over the course of his five move rotation) deal 800 magical damage to each hero, an extra 2400 magical damage to the center hero, and 800 magic+200 physical split across the front row. He will also heal for 2400 HP. This damage setup means that the front-top and front-bottom heroes will take little more damage than back-row heroes would, so using a full party is helpful.
Almost all of Arkyos' damage is magical (97.5% against a full party, 95.2% against a lone hero), so physical defence can safely be ignored. However, since it's being dealt pretty widely, group heals such as the Cleric's Greater Heal(ideally on turns 3/5, after the AOE) or the Paladin's Light's Grace are very useful for long fights. The group Mdef buff from the Paladin's Holy Blessing will also help party resilience.
The Pyroblast is pure magical damage, so the Paladin's Shield skill is fully effective against it. The Warrior's Block skill, however, is useless. The Rogue and Assassin can also use Evade.
